SOFIA: A natural giver, her clothes are all hand-me-downs, second-hand, and grounded in practicality.
ZOE: Everyday studious, “superstar kid” who yearns to move up and to move on. Clothes are youthful and brighter, though reflective of her and her mother’s emotional arcs.
AMBER: L.A. girl hip, standing out in both her off-the-clock athleisure and business casual work attire.
LENNON: A similarly struggling single mother focused on survival. Dressed from coming off of her shift at a restaurant; worn down by the day, down on her luck.
BODEGA CASHIER: Annoyed working teen.
